Jordan Klepper makes a fool of gun enthusiast Noel Flasterstein

Jordan Klepper and the G-wordIn this video Daily Show Jordan Klepper plays along just fine until the end when he makes such a fool of gun enthusiast Noel Flasterstein it makes one wonder how Noel Flasterstein gave the Daily Show permission to use the video. And he’s a lawyer.

Florida governor Crazy Eyes Rick Scott signed Republican legislation the other day to make it a crime for doctors to ask patients if they have guns in their home, in their pocket, on their brain or up their ass. This comes as no surprise as the NRA wrote similar laws for the US  congress back in the 1990s disallowing Hospitals, the CDC or police agencies to compile data on gun deaths or gun violence. Gun enthusiasts do not want to have doctors, or anyone with smarter than they are telling the simple truth about the havoc guns cause here in America. For after all, adjusted to population we have about 10 times the gun violence as the civilized people on the planet.

Over the years I have said so much about our violent culture that glorifies guns that it is time I put it in relation to the rest of the world as best I can. The only proper data to use is “number or firearm related homicides per 100,000 people.” In this case not all data is available, some is older than others, and to make the list viable here I reduced it to places we know. I also tried to find data complied outside of Gun Gun Jesus Land.

So here you go. What came to my attention is proximity to the United States, Catholicism, hot blooded Latinos and of course the list seen as a graph from most civilized people to the least civilized. But please, make your own judgments:
