Jordan Klepper, alumni of The Daily Show, introduced his own new show on Comedy Central, called ‘The Opposition’ with a bang! Gosh, why did Alex Jones react so negatively to Jordan’s piece on alternative media? Klepper recognizes that newspapers are obsolete, as is televised ‘news’ where everyone agrees on the same ‘facts.’Imagine! Now, we are free to chose our own facts,free from the oppression of the big news industrial complex.
Klepper highlighted some of the heroes, the alternative news makers, but none reacted to the honor as negatively as Alex Jones, who claimed that Comedy (Commie) Central was producing an entire show about him! More panicked, if possible are Jone’s fans, who heralded Klepper’s show with the terror reserved for a Martian invasion. In truth, Jones was only one of several news designers mentioned. That ‘fact’ too must be hard to swallow. Just as a BTW: This segment is the only episode of ‘The Opposition’ which isn’t available on YouTube, but critical videos by Jone’s fans are numerous.
