Jose Antonio Vargas, author of "My Life as an Undocumented Immigrant" for the New York Times Magazine, talks with Rachel Maddow about revealing the personal secret of his immigration status as well as coming out a gay man.
Vargas and Rachel also discuss the state of the immigration debate in the U.S., a debate which he feels has not truly happened yet.
