I know exactly what you mean db. I think that’s their genius. So many issues they tackle are unspeakable, and they certainly did build suspense in this one. We know the horror beneath the surface, but rather than beat us over the head, they let us feel enormous relief at the absurdity of the magician. If you’ve been pursued by an amateur magician…Well, enough said. ; )
