Granted, this was originally run in mid-December, but because the holidays continually sneak up on me, it comes just in time to do my shopping for 2011. I know that many of you have already started your shopping for 2012, on Dec. 26th if not before. You outnumber me, and maybe one other dazed man I ran into yesterday. He hasn’t been home since late Christmas Eve.
The late-night ‘must have’ items one sees on TV are often reason to grab the phone and dial! I promise that if you give into the urge, you’ll be surprised in 8-10 days, after you’ve forgotten this bout of insomnia. Most items beggar belief, as do the ads making them seem ‘normal.’ Really, what are the man’s chances of returning from the sports stadium bathroom in his one-piece snuggy – with himself in one piece?
