On Last Week Tonight, John Oliver reports on Vladimir Putin’s most recent military action – the iron man, declared “Russia’s most eligible bachelor” for obvious reasons, has declared war on cheese! This is no mere skirmish. In a world of hunger, Putin’s response to sanctions by the Ukraine and the West, is the destroy tons of cheese, produce and even three frozen geese – whom John feels had it coming.
Watching bulldozers destroy all of that perfectly good food, while his people’s mouths water, certainly punishes Putin’s enemies! What Putin needs is a strong adversary to help him see reason. I can easily imagine President Trump whose pouts and retribution are YUUUUUGE, engaged in a ‘diplomatic discussion’ with Putin, whose response to being called a ‘loser’ just might be negative
