The debate gave a nice shine to the Republican brand. Shutting down the government to keep poor women from cancer tests and birth control options. War everywhere in the Middle East and probably the Ukraine. Reducing the government from three branches to two. Replacing all aspects of progressive taxation with flat taxes or national sale taxes giving the wealthy another boost up at the expense of everyone else. Doing whatever they can to phis off African Americans, Hispanics, Asians, Gays and single women. More guns for more people in more places. Massive federal arrests for marijuana in Colorado, Washington and Oregon. Increasing military expenditures by 50%. Did I mention more war in more places? The denial of global warming with their jaw dropping anti environmental activism. And of course every a celebration of every aspect of religious bigotry and intolerance you can shake a stick at.
