Love that Rand Paul haircut though! Moron and mean are just for starters on this guy who is competing with Ted Cruz to be the most Right-wing wingnut in the Senate. The difference between the two is only superficial.
After all, neither believes in unemployment compensation at all, or Social Security, or Medicaid, or Medicare, or that long list of such things God, Jesus, Libertarians and Republicans hate so intensely. You know, helpful things…
Ted Cruz has a couple of problems. First is that he looks, talks and presents himself as the most reviled politician of the 20th Centruy, Joe McCarthy. He also cannot shed the influence of his hate driven evangelical father Rapheal Cruz who he celebrates no matter what horrible crap comes spewing forth from him. One of the ugliest Christian preachers around these days.
On the other hand, Rand Paul has his father’s organization – which is very VERY good at keeping the evangelical fundamentalism, homophobia, creationism, war on women, racism, bigotry and the Ayn Rand horror show under the radar. But don’t be fooled, Rand Paul is only playing moderates and independents for fools by advocating legal weed and attacking the NSA and drones. Legalizing weed doesn’t matter a hill of beans and the NSA and drones are only part of his desire to withdraw from any and all foreign entanglements including the United Nations. The apple doesn’t fall far from the crazy tree.
