The family values crowd is so full of shit I can smell them from here. Personal responsibility they scream ad nauseum. What more personal responsibility can a parent have than taking the children out of a war zone before they get gobbled up by the bad guys or shot?
It’s all about white children. It is why Republicans refuse universal health care, why they keep defunding the safety net in lieu of tax breaks to the wealthy, it is why when any promotion “for the general welfare” they scream SOCIALISM and COMMUNISM.
Here in the US it is all about race. The same is going on in Europe but there it is different as it is about religion. A fundamentalist evangelical crazyass religion that makes even our Southern Baptists seem secular. And there the Muslims do not melt in like Hispanics do so well here,
