Just think! You can go ‘glam camping’ for $500.a night in a tent! Please help me understand the appeal of dragging computers, VCR players (as surely the kids won’t venture outside), special chandeliers, espresso machines, and- oh please rice makers! Admittedly it has been a while, but when I last looked it was possible to rent a lovely room in Hawaii for much less than $500. per night. Those with the cash could ‘rough it’ in a thatched roof hut with room service, and dive from your door into the ocean. The best part – you only needed to drag clothes with you!
