Perhaps the category ‘Worst’ is misleading, but surely this is one of Keith Olbermann’s Worst days professionally! Olbermann’s suspension should put an end
to misguided speculation that MSNBC and FOX are just two sides of the same coin; hyperbolic conservatives on one side, feudin’ with equally one-sided liberals on the other.
NBC employees are forbidden to make contributions without a prior authorization; this is the rule Olbermann broke when he made contributions to three Democratic candidates. Ironically, it appears that NBC wishes to retain an aura of ‘Fair and Balanced’ news coverage.
The network which claims the slogan "Fair and Balanced" is anything but – fair, balanced, or a ‘news’ network, so occupied is FOX as the blatant fund-raising arm of the GOP.
If Keith Olbermann’s difficulties can be resolved, and in some small way contribute to the removal of the word "News" from the FOX fund-raising network, I suspect that even he will feel it has been worthwhile.
