They will also cry for forgiveness for being freaky. It’s a long tradition in American Televangelism. Rachel Maddow and friends have done an admirable job of referencing and cross-referencing those in the high-stakes game for God, beginning with Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker to the present time. I can’t help but notice that all of these sinners, whose escapades rival the most convoluted soap opera, admit to sinning "only once or twice and briefly" one half expects "and I did not enjoy it" to follow.
