The question arises, can watching Michael Douglas kissing Matt Damon in the movie Behind the Candelabra make you gay? Or an even heavier question… The studios rejected the movie because they said the market is only gay people. Does that mean everyone who watches it on HBO is gay? And of course the kicker. Liberace was gay! OMG! He had a TV show back in the 1950’s that my grandmother watched all the time!
Which reminds me of all the times I watched Lawrence Welk while spending the Summers with my grandparents at the lake. I just learned the other day that what is considered the funniest TV show of all time, Your Show of Shows staring Imogene Coca and Sid Ceasar and written by Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner was taken off the air because it could not compete with the Lawrence Welk Show.
