I feel your pain Michelle, and as one who has been reprimanded many times for my rolling eyes ‘at an inappropriate time’ I suspect that you’ve shown super-human restraint these past four years. The one time your eyes could not be stopped from rolling heavenward in utter frustration or annoyance beyond human suffering, it was of course caught on camera. This has set every amateur psychologist, and now even a lip-reader on the trail to discover who or what twanged your very last nerve.
As promised, Larry Wenig, an expert lip reader from “Inside Edition” claims that John Boehner is the perpetrator. Mrs. Obama, seated as she was, between her husband and John Boehner, could not miss hearing Boehner ask President Obama if he’d had a chance to grab a ciggie before the luncheon. Ever tactful, Boehner tapped the first lady on the arm, (just in case she missed it) then told Obama “somebody wouldn’t let you do it.” I suspect Boehner hoped to cause a Presidential family feud. All in all, he’s fortunate that he’s not sporting a fork in the forearm.
