Monty Python's John Cleese Rebuts Trump Fan Who Trolls Self in Hilarous 'Stupidity' Tweet

In the glorious pre-Trump era of 2014, John Cleese set forth a theory on stupidity contained in the following video, which contains the following:

“I think the problem with people like this is they have no idea of how stupid they are.” “You see, if you’re very very stupid, how can you possibly realize that you’re very very stupid?” “You’d have to be relatively intelligent to realize how stupid you are.”

Are you intrigued? The theory of stupidity and intelligence, is backed by scientific research (if you believe in that sort of hoodoo) at Cornell University. If we’d paid attention, we might have foreseen the current predicament of living in a land of red hats on some and red faces on the rest of us!

Now we bring you to June 4, 2016. Trump prompted Cleese to tweet again today  after Trump responded to the terror strikes in London by promoting his pro-gun agenda and whining about courts blocking his anti-Muslim travel ban. What – No room to brag about his election victory?

 Cleese took to Twitter: “Seeing Trump’s recent London tweet reminds me of the 9th Beatitude : Blessed are the stupid, for their confidence makes them so easy to spot.”

Trump supporter Adrian W. (name censored)  soon answered:
@JohnCleese You’re wrong. He’s right.

Cleese politely responded:
Thank you for explaining it so well
Sorry for my mistake!!
Seriously…Re-read what I said. It’s about you
