Recently there has been an everyday pounding in the media that Americans are becoming less religious and more tolerant. Which has got evangelicals with their backs against the wall and they intend to make a stand no matter how crazy they sound. Though it may very well be their last stand – as they are mostly over 70 and diabetic – they can still disrupt this next election and give control of all branches of government to the most radical right-wing political party in the industrialized world.
They are going to walk through walls to vote a year from now while more than 30 Republican controlled states actively and successfully suppress the votes of minorities and the young who already have poor voting records.
