This Bill Maher rant on regulations is really the same old rant on how political correctness became the number one cause of driving Americans to the GOP. In fact the two issues are very much related.
Look, no one likes a finger wagging in front of their face for anything yet alone every small little thing or wrong word – no matter they may be right – for it only alienates tens of millions of people including me.
Republicans no longer spent much time debating the actual issues anymore because they are wrong and in the minority on all of them. What they do instead is define Democrats as in your face finger waving elitists trying to control everything you do or say.
And they have been winning at that for a generation.
