Food becoming political is new, but science being political has been around since the guy in Cave 23 told everyone that if they did what he told them they would never die.
When looking at the food issue though, it sure comes down to Republicans always striving to do the wrong thing. To loudly and obnoxiously do the wrong thing.
Denying science isn’t so much doing the wrong thing for money or just being stupid.
The strong suits of the GOP are being wrong and stupid. Which goes well with callous and selfish. Which in turn works with angry and paranoid. And not to forget nasty and violent.
If the UN voted for the top a whole country in the world, who do you think would get the most votes? Well besides France.
