"Incompetent Government! Radically change government! Dramatic change! Fundamental change!" Newt Gringrich screeched this week
Newt Gingrich got his monthly 20 minutes of Newt Gingrich on Fox News Sunday this week. Though in his usual endless egotistical pontification he diced George W Bush and Karl Rove some, all in all it was the same old story from the Nootster. The problem is not George, Karl, Republicans or Conservatives, the problem is the Government, or more specifically, government bureaucracy which needs to be reorganized by Newt Gringrich. For Newt it is not so much a matter of less government as it is no government. But how would that work you may ask? When Newt becomes President he will take charge of the UnGovernment, and run it his own self because Newt Knows Best.
Gingrich has a new novel out called Pearl Harbor! Thousands of his last 1945 had to be burned because they were taking up too much space in the dead novel warehouse. This one concerns the Gingrich World View that we have to maximize our war machine as FDR did to win WW2. If we do as FDR, we can not only win the War on Terror and the Iraq War but we can also win the wars he wants to start up with Syria, Iran, Pakistan and the Palestinians. Lots and lots of wars, are lots and lots of fun for Newt. What with no bureaucracy to do any of the work, Newt will be a very busy President. He announced he is leaning toward running and will decide on October first.
On other issues he screeched about the horror of amnesty, Hispanic Gangsters, Rule of Law, English Only, Mass arrests/deportations, and that any form of national health care is against our central American ideology and must be stopped in its tracks.
