This one seems to say it all. President Obama got us out of two bad wars, killed Osama Bin Laden, brought the nation out from the brink of collapse, doubled the stock market, cut unemployment by almost half, passed the much needed Affordable Care Act that gives all Americans the right to insurance with pre existing conditions and to not be thrown out on the street if they get sick. GNP, trade, savings and all economic indicators are up and even the price of gas is down.
The election was not about any of that, No real policy at all, but rather a personal hatred of our first Black President. Pretending he is at fault for ISIS, Ebola, the IRS, Benghazi, the VA and what have you rather than what it is really about. Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush proved once and for all that the intellectually challenged do not like smart people at all, and they especially don’t like black smart people in a position to tell them what to do. Or telling them what the RIGHT THING TO DO is.
I just read that for the first time in over a generation The South has turned completely Republican. What with a African American President, who would have thought?
Also keep in mine, in rural American there is very little to do other than in the Fall go kill stuff. The remaining seasons are spent getting ready to go kill things, listening to Rush Limbaugh and talk radio, watching Fox News, watching the conservative local TV stations and weathermen deny climate change, read the local newspapers that are owned and operated almost exclusively by Tea Party Christian Evangelical, global warming deniers, and of course the overwhelming smell of manure in the morning.
