I see this ad often and it gets in my craw. If ever there was a sleazy, low ball ad this is it. The voice over hype is so beyond the pale that even a minute into it one still assumes it is from THE ONION or it’s a SNL skit.

Its just so over the top. And a bit insulting to who it is directed at.
Oh yes. The gold ‘investment’ ads on Glenn Beck’s show had that same tone. This tripe appeals to the same folks who bought up all of those ‘Elvis Collector’ plates and other clap trap. The thing is, that all you have to do is SAY it’s worth something and people who can least afford it, snatch it up!
