Aw gee Dave. We know you’re a classy guy, that’s why you’ve apologized for the fun you poked at the Palins. I’m just not convinced that it was necessary to apologize to a public figure when she chose to interpret your joke incorrectly, so that it painted you as a lecherous old man, and gave her another folksy grievance against those Hollywood showbiz types. It will surely be worth it if they accept your invitation to New York City to be on the Tee-Vee though!
Watch and see if you think it’s possible to interpret the joke in the way the Palins claim they did. As Craig Crawford says, David Letterman gets to say the things that we wish we could, and very well I might add.
