Palin has elicited yet another apology from David Letterman, a decent person whose character is so far different from that which she is portraying as almost to be laughable, if not for the consequences. Though Dave has apologized and explained twice, protesters and a mail campaign have convinced at least one sponsor to opt out, and now with the help of Teabagger/ tax evader Tom Cox, they and their small
crowd want his JOB! It’s obvious that she’s milking this for all she can, made all the more absurd when you hear the broad net she has cast. Sadly, I know in my heart that many of her rabid sign carriers aren’t familiar with Letterman and believe what she says, nor do they see or care what a cheap ploy she’s using them to help carry out. After seeing far too many shows give her air time, I had vowed not to mention this again, until the calls for firing Letterman came to my attention.
