Gold: Glenn Beck, the Fox News Joe McCarthy. Few men spend as much time pointing fingers at those who are alleged to be ‘Red’ as does Beck. That’s why it is so satisfying to see and hear his new proletarian rap. Of course, there is no mention made of reducing the obscene sums (or adding taxes to) those who are obscenely rich from dreaming up false and often contradictory theories on Fox News.
Silver: Congressman Steve King, R- Iowa – your racism is showing. Congratulations on adding an alternate meaning to the word ‘urban’ – soon coming to an ‘all- white edition’ Webster dictionary near you.

Bronze: Dell’s Maraschino Cherry Company, appropriately located in Red Hook, Brooklyn take the Bronze. While I think it’s very festive to see red bees and honey this time of year, I suppose it might be off-putting in August. Extra? Given the choice, Michele Bachmann claims she would like to have a discussion with Keith Olbermann. Breaking rank with the ‘lame stream media’ avoiders, she feels he would be willing to have a discussion. Undoubtedly that much is true!
