Gold: Rev.Jeremiah Wright more than earns it. Speaking to a reporter Tuesday night after a sermon, Worst Person in the World Wright was asked if he was ever in touch with Obama. His answer was more than enough to show that bigots and dimwits come in all colors and occupations. Watch to see the dismaying statement made by Wright, who is sure Obama will be back one day. Call me crazy, but I think the chances of that were thin before and non-existent now.
Silver: The Coultergeist. Annie holding forth on a right-wing radio show once again demonstrated her trademark stating of facts – which aren’t in any way related to actual events. The topic was the recent Letterman – Palin dust up, and attacks on presidential daughters. Her memory is especially poor, when stating that no other presidential daughters had been the target of attack. It’s impossible for most of us who weren’t on a thorazine drip at the time, to forget that the most vicious were hurled at Chelsea Clinton. You may be surprised to hear where one of them originated.
Bronze: Rabid lil’ Liz Cheney in speaking to Joan Walsh about policy set by her own father and George Bush regarding the incarceration and trial of Gitmo prisoners. When this Cheney is wrong, she insists that she’s right! I suspect with time, she may grow to resemble her famous father in other ways as well.
