Judge Rules White Girl Will Be Tried As Black Adult
As the tongue-in-cheek ‘report’ protests, this is a photogenic white girl, and no one deserves to be treated like a black man in this legal system!
We all know there is truth in humor, such is the case here. It could only be worse for the bubbly young murderess turned black man if the trial were in execution-happy Texas where the efforts of Sister Helen Prejean who is known for the Dead Man Walking story and her efforts to halt the practice of executions, recently received an underwhelming response from the cinched up bible belt.
Barry Scheck’s Innocence Project has helped to exonerate 266 falsely accused prisoners, many of whom were on death row. Of that number, 158 were African Americans, 80 Caucasian, 21 were Latinos, 2 of Asian descent, and 5 whose race is unknown. The record speaks for itself, the condemned innocents can’t.
