the onion week in reviewThe center of this weeks Onion review is forced website videos before you get to an article. Of course there is nothing we can do here about the embedded ads inside content videos, but unlike most every other big player out there, we do not force a full screen pop up with a hard to find exit upon you. In fact many of them are now doing TWO of them before entering.

And you know, as bad as that is, it doesn’t hold a candle to the forced mouseover popups. Uuuuu that phises me off…

But that said, the Internet like 100 years of radio and 75 years of television is wholly dependent upon advertising to keep it free and viable, it is just when so much of it hits you so often in so many places that the anger builds.
