I find this the most disturbing photograph I have come across in a long time. A 7 year old girl with an assault rifle with a 20 round clip and a 10 year old boy with a sniper rifle with his finger on the trigger walking down a busy street. Imagine what the parents of these kids are like. Gosh…
So what’s to be done about this purely American celebration of violence?
1) When you see anyone with a gun in public call 911 to warn the police. I.E, do what you would do if they were black.
2) When in a retail store drop your bags or leave your cart immediately and rush out the door yelling “GUNS” so the management knows why you are not shopping there.
3) If you are in a restaurant immediately get up and leave without paying your bill.
4) If you are in Florida and feel afraid, stand your ground and shoot them through the heart. After all, someone approaching you with an assault rifle is far more intimidating than a kid with an ice tea and bag of Skittles.
