I can understand the Republicans bigotry and callous disregard for others, it’s their pride in it that passes me by,
Look out ONE DIRECTION there are new kids on the block stealing the hearts of silly old men who haven’t heard such a good song since Dinah Shore passed away, ladies and gentlemen, the Trumpettes!
So who are the Trump fans? We know they are less educated, have less money and are even whiter than establishment Republican. They are not very religious, do not follow politics, and believe everything the media has to say – outside Fox News and talk radio – is a lie.
But generalities aside here are a few things I garnered from a SurveyMonkey poll in December where Trump followers scored above 80%:
93% – Blacks who can’t get ahead in this country are responsible for their own condition
88% – Confederate flag is a symbol of Southern pride
83% – Immigrants today are a burden on our country because they take our jobs, housing, and health care
80% – Display American flag 80%
Conservatively correct wisdom says we cannot impune “racism” upon any of that, which the main stream media avoids because they are afraid these people will change the station to Fox News. Hello? They are already exclusively watching Fox News if they watch news at all. Instead we use words like “xenophobic” or “nativist.” Which is much like the conservatively correct avoidance of using the words “religious” or “religion” in any negative context whatsoever ever. Rather it’s “sectarian”, “Islamic” or “Jihadist.”
And a bit of a surprise with Trump fans with scores of under 50%:
45% – More likely to vote for a candidate who wants stricter limits on abortion
44% – Gun owner
