Paula Deen is no more racist than any Southern Belle. Why single her out for slavery themed weddings and saying some blacks are NWORDS? What’s the big deal? It’s like not liking Voting Rights Act or the Civil Right’s Act, she is just being a normal Southerner. Next thing you know there will be those who attack the South for suppressing the black vote in the here and now!
This is ALL ABOUT the free market. And as a free market advocate each of has free market options. We can boycott those who CHOOSE to drop her: Sears, Random House, QVC, Ceasers’s INC, Food Network, Home Depot, Target, Smithfield Pork, JC Penny, Walmart, Norvo Nordisk and even Cracker Barrel!
And we can CHOOSE to back those businesses that stand behind her: Sandridge Foods, Springer Mountain Farms, Tasty Blend Foods, Landies Candies, Epicurean Butter, 450id, IQ Craft and of course Donald Trump. Where’s Denny’s, Hobby Lobby and Chik a filet? And why did I find that most of these companies behind Paula Deen mention Jesus and Christian in their bylines and defense? What’s that connection about?
And you know, this issue is what drives not only the Republican Party but as such, American politics, and it is far worse than it was before whatever it was that happened on the first Tuesday of November 2008.
