Pope Francis sleeps through the National Anthem with no salute or hand over chest which had it been anyone else, Republicans would have kicked the crap out of. Is there a better war song as the anthem in any other country? Well other than ISIS.
Even before Pope Francis speaks before congress we can see the problem. He talks of the poor, of immigrants, of protecting the environment, sharing and loving each other, all nice things that Republicans have no stake in whatsoever.
You see, this Bill Maher, Richard Dawkins, Rack Jite kind of militant atheism is not really about religion or God, it is about how religion and God are used as political pawns to support the politics of selfishness, greed, guns, war, violence, executions, intolerance, bigotry and even slapping children around. I am hard pressed to think of any atheist vocalizing any hatred toward Pope Francis. He is a nice guy, who us to be nice. Who is he to judge.
