Presenting the Humble Ted Cruz

“in college he was a superstar, he was national debate champion, he was world champion, I think it went to his head, now he seems way more grounded, if that’s possible.” Rob Marks a liberal but old debating opponent of Cruz from the Princeton days who also added, “Living in a Ted Cruz world would be crazy.”

The Houston Chronicle did a big front page piece this Sunday on Ted Cruz which I can’t link to because it’s closed to non subscribers, so I had to type the above quote to help put this cartoon in better perspective.

Ted Cruz could sodomize and eat children and still enjoy endless standing ovations here in Texas and around our Tea Party nation. Just yesterday in the Sunday Houston Chronicle, which is Republican Lite newspaper, did a two page front page glowing piece on our Houston boy of the moment.

The gist of it is that Ted has been reading the Constitution since he was a toddler and has it mostly memorized. As such he understands the Constitution better than anyone else. There is no debating him on it, he has it all figured out and you just may as well throw in your cards and walk away before the ante.

The Ted Cruz interpretation of the Constitution can be summed up very simply as, the Constitution says that the government must never under any circumstances offer or give any help to anyone ever with the added dimension of states rights taday, states rights tamarra, and states rights’ foeva.

And there you go. We have heard him loudly scream that if elected he will “repeal every word of Obamacare!” We have to ask, which of course no one has, how Obamacare is any different than repealing every word of Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security et al. Or even the 16th Amendment to the Constitution for that matter.
