Since the Fear and Loathing Republican convention in Cleveland Monday’s CNN/ORC International poll shows Donald Trump gained 6 points to move ahead of Hillary Clinton 48 to 45, with Independents [soft Republicans] Trump got a 15 point jump 46 to 28 and not surprisingly, Trump now has a 40 point advantage over Clinton 63 to 23 with “poorly educated” white people.
But this week’s Democratic Convention will move the polls back to sanity you say?
Well the Trump campaign says that will not happen for The Lord of Media manipulation has “plans” to steal the show away from the Democrats. At this time we don’t know if it will be a vindictive attack on someone – perhaps a crippled child – a tweet-storm or bringing into the campaign all the circus elephants that were recently laid off by Ringling Brothers. I hear the “poorly educated” love elephants as they are big easy targets to hit, though bringing them down is a different story, but that’s what the assault rifles with the 100 round clips are for, 40 round clips are just fine for school children and police.
It looks even better for Trump since last night when a Syrian refugee in Germany did a suicide bomb attack at a concert wounding 27. See? Just like he said.
Even if Trump loses, we will still have to deal with those 40% of American voters who are in bed with a vindictive know-nothing, narcissistic, fascist buffoon, all of whom will be angrier with an uppity woman in the White House as they were after an uppity Black man became president. Satan only knows what will follow, a trumped up open carry Tea Party.
There is one thing good about open carry, I just read that if there is trouble they are the first ones the police will shoot. Next comes anyone dressed in camo, then comes the Blacks and Hispanics.
I have been noticing down here in Dumbutt, Texas that the social hierarchy, the one-upping, is not about income, size of trucks or double-wides, but the number of guns one owns. I also notice with the multitudinous open garage door driveway parties, the guns do not come out for show and tell until after the beer is gone and Jack Daniels comes out.
