When these Christian terrorists go after our wives, daughters, sisters, mothers, doctors and health care workers we give them a pass. But when they go after our children it is time to stand up and give their ugly asses a kick in the pants.
Remember what Jesus said about abortion. Nothing! It is a pure politics concocted by Jerry Falwell and the TV preachers in the late 1970s to create income, more TV time, and the politicization of religion into the Republican Party. After all, it was American Christian protestants who lobbied against the Pope for a woman’s right to choose. Prior to 1973 EVERYONE knew at least one horrible illegal abortion story.
The issue the Pro Life community refuses to either address or have any concern with – is that if they were to become successful in outlawing abortion – the amount of illegal abortions preformed would be only slightly less than the legal ones today. What would be the results of a million illegal abortions a year? Or half a million for quibblers? It is impossible to get such people to think even one step beyond their intolerant dogma.
No matter abortion or any other Right-wing ugliness, it is time that all of us who receive that crap to REPLY with our "undisclosed" email list of friends. Who REPY with their list of "undisclosed" email friends, and so on and so forth.
For those who have a website or blog, I have found a little trick of my own. If reading your newspaper you find an especially egregious Letter to the Editor, copy it, add a nasty little response as to their ugly character and post it with their name in the title. Next time they Google themselves, there it will be most probably at the top of the list.
