If you saw this family on the street you might think that a more typical American family would be hard to find. When mom says that they’re ‘not much for Nintendo’ the family appears to be a close-knit little group, not given to violent games, perhaps preferring outside activities and family fun. Nothing could be further from the truth! This all-American mom thinks that the game "Ethnic Cleansing" is a perfect way to while away the hours,practicing violent racism for fun! This mom is my candidate for reprogramming camp for dangerous dummies.
Recent statistics show that we have reached a milestone. More non-white babies are now born than Caucasian. This is bound to strike fear in the hearts of those like the family in the story. In actuality, this country once boasted that it was "The melting pot." It still is, and until the day when that fact is accepted, plans by Republicans to thwart so-called ‘anchor babies’ should be thwarted. Unless you are Native American, it’s highly likely that one of your ancestors was given a frosty welcome by other immigrants who had arrived a wee bit sooner. Fortunately for all of us, our ‘anchor baby’ grandparents and parents were given citizenship. How pompous and ultimately frightening that some would slam the door on others – or worse!
