Conservative fat-head, Red State’s Erick Erickson reads angry tweets from supporters of Donald Trump after he slighted The Donald. The obscenity-filled hate tweets poured in after Erickson dis-invited Trump to the organization’s event on Saturday, which Erickson claimed was a family event, and an inappropriate venue for the kind of remarks Trump made on Thursday night about Megyn Kelly.
It’s safe to assume his snub of Trump wasn’t entirely based upon gallantry. Erickson has a history of misogyny, having called First Lady Michelle Obama, “Obama’s Marxist harpy wife (who) would go Lorena Bobbitt on him.” Erickson called and Texas politician Wendy Davis “abortion Barbie” after her 13-hour filibuster against a Texas abortion law. You know what this means. Our conservative neighbors are having another angry, loud, knock-down, drag-out battle, and this one may lead to a D-I-V-O-R-C-E. Now, if it were the Battling Branigans next door, it might be possible to feel empathy for one spouse or the other. In this battle, where the GOP stands to lose as well, it is impossible to wish any one of the brawlers well in the dust-up. The only thing to do is pop some corn and enjoy the action.
Erickson – no friend to reason, women or left-leaning causes, is a study as he reads the mainly obscene, always passionate tweets. He appears to be genuinely shocked by the ferocity of Trump’s supporters. Fiercely loyal Trump fans need no campaign promises beyond a vow to destroy Obamacare, and send all Hispanic folks packing. What is on their minds? You will soon hear it for yourself. A recurring demand is: “I want my country BACK.” The rest is unprintable, but gives you valuable insight – not to mention, motivation to give a wide berth to anyone with a TRUMP bumper sticker!
