This Public Policy Polling survey came out with the same results as did a recent PEW study, Republicans find only conservative “opinion” sources as trustworthy “news” such as Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Breitbart, the Drudge Report, Glenn Beck and the Blaze, while on the other hand Democrats find the mainstream media like NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, CNN, NYTs, TIME to be the most trustworthy. Which is much the same as every Republican issue these kind of people set mind to, everything is based upon not just lies, but what we all know are lies. Which the mainstream media cannot say because then Republicans would find them bias, untrustworthy and not watch them. Now there’s a silly circle for you.
This is why the GOP is also the party of religion. I have had a couple evangelical house guests for a week and the lesson is very clear when in direct contact, no matter what the issue whether it be creationism, abortion, gays, education or politics they do not THINK IT OUT, there is no series of logical steps, rather they have God do their thinking for them. Wait. That is not fair to God. They let some salesman profiting from their fears do their thinking for them. And come to think of it, it is probably best they do not do their own thinking.
Both Religion and the Republican Party are primarily about selling fear of one thing or another.
