Well there you have it. The answer to why the Tea Party is so ugly. In fact it now flows through the entire Republican Party.
How long will it take for Republicans to accept global warming? It was 1492 when the Earth was found to be round, it was 1540 when Copernicus found the Earth revolved around the Sun. It took hundreds of years for the human towhead crowd to accept even those events.
Darwin came up with evolution in 1854. 160 years later most Americans still refuse to accept it. So don’t expect the GOP to accept Global Warming until at least 2175 AD. When it’s far too late. After all, they believe it is a hoax so it must be a hoax. Life is just that simple for towheads.
I suffer perhaps the most Right-wing community newspaper in America, and maybe in the world. I recently read a letter to the editor from one of the Tea Party Uglies who write, edit and publish the paper that went on and on about how the dystopian horrors of Obamacare were so well depicted in the movie Elysium starring Matt Damon and Jody Foster.
Well I had to go see the movie to make sure that was true. The story is about the Matt Damon character on a decimated Earth where there is no health care. He gets poisoned and has 5 days to live unless he gets to the orbiting Ringworld where all the rich people live in mansions with total health care and a machine that instantly cures all diseases. Jody Foster is the evil rich woman who kills any of the rabble trying to get health care. Including shooting down mothers and their children trying to cure them of cancer.
So the reality is that the movie depicts the DIRECT OPPOSITE of what the Tea Party Ugly writer saw. Nothing could be more opposite. And that is the story of the Tea Party, the Birthers, and the religious fundamentalists – whatever they choose to believe is true.
