Republicans Mike Huckabee & Bobby Jindal loudly support Kim Davis

“I let Kim Davis know how proud I am of her for not abandoning her religious convictions and standing strong for religious liberty, she is showing more courage and humility than just about any federal office holder in Washington, I stand with Kim Davis and every American of faith under attack by Washington elites who have nothing but disdain for us, our faith and the Constitution,” Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee Sept 2 2015.

Mike Huckabee 2016Republican Presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Bobby Jindal have also came out in overwhelming support of Kim Davis to defy the Supreme Court and the rule of law.

Kim Davis has been called to court this morning by a federal judge to answer for her God sanctioned bigotry – as most bigotry seems to be – knowing that whatever happens; fines, loss of job, jail or more time to be America’s reigning bigot, she will become the darling of the Evangelical Base and a very wealthy woman. Follow the money. As is the case with talk radio and Fox News, making bigots feel good about themselves is a money train.

UPDATE: Kim Davis sentence to jail.

The other two Evangelical Republicans presidential candidates who put their religion above their country, Ben Carson and Rick Santorum, so far are saying the laws should be obeyed even though neither one has any respect for gays and lesbians and they believe need to be treated as less human than everyone else. As do ALL REPUBLICAN presidential candidates for that matter.

This business of Republican presidential candidates so loudly and proudly exclaiming that their primary allegiance goes first to would be deities rather than the United States or the US Constitution will come back and not only bite the GOP brand come a year from now, but blow it up.

The GOP lost African Americans and single women long ago, they more recently lost Hispanics and Asians and lose more of them in every passing day these primaries go on. For another glorious 10 months. With this newer issue of gay marriage they are increasingly their loss of young voters, or millennials as they are called.

What’s left for them? Well Ted Cruz believes they can win the White House without any minorities, young people, by just getting out the right-wing lunatics to vote while suppressing the vote of the rest. I do think it’s time to see if that is true. Trump/Cruz 2016!

But you know, when I look at the GOP field I see only two candidates who actually want to be President rather than just in it to monetize their names. Bush and Kasich.
