Clean drinking water is Socialism! Don’t tread on my rocket fuel in my kids’ drinking water!
Republicans have had to be dragged to the table screaming and kicking for every clean air, clean water, safe food and drug regulation ever enacted. As any good Republican/Libertarian will tell you, arsenic in toothpaste is no problem and there should be no law against it. After many people die the free market will automatically kick in and the sale of arsenic toothpaste will drop to almost nothing!
This is such a good indicator of what the Republican Party stands for. And it isn’t just their screeching about the socialist intrusion of regulating clean drinking water, but all water everywhere: Ocean water, river water, lakes, streams, injecting hydrogen into the water table, acid rain… Those running the GOP can afford taking baths in Perrier while those voting for them feel honored to drink their bath water. And it isn’t just clean air that is another example of American being destroyed by creeping European Socialism.
Republicans are also active in promoting foul dirty air. Republican Country Clubs have Hepa filters built into their AC while those who vote for them can count on Jesus to protect them from all the Benzine. And of course they want as much Carbon Dioxide as they can get. After all, it’s invisible and makes plants grow!
Republicans have no care at all about ALL the glaziers melting faster, the Arctic and all of Siberia thawing, this decade and this year being the warmest on record, changes in climate generating massive snow storms, rain, drought as never before. Its all a myth and a lie perpetrated by smart people to destroy America. Says Exxon and company. And those who vote for the Republicans accept it for two reasons. First because they are uneducated ignorant hicks and secondly because they hate Liberals, Progressives, Democrats, African Americans, Mexicans, Arabs, Muslims, Immigrants, Europeans, Foreigners and above all anyone smarter than they are so much their teeth bleed.
And it is not just Republicans fighting against clean water, clean air, climate change, safe food, safe drugs, seat belts, airbags and smoking restrictions but also against Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, workman’s comp, unemployment insurance, free public education, health insurance for the poor, the unemployed and children. And more and bigger guns that fire faster and faster with 30 round clips for more and people to carry in more and more places. As the Church Lady recently reminded me, it’s… SATAN!
