Well there you have it. Vindication! Since the Republican primaries – or what some call "Bring in the Clowns" – began, my contention concerning our political divide has shifted. I no longer believe we are divided by Left and Right, Rich and Poor, Red and Blue or Rural and Urban. We are divided by Smart and Very Stupid. Thank you Mr frothy fecal lube Taliban Santorum for making that so perfectly clear. Once and for all. NAILED IT.
This of course begs the question, how stupid do you have to be to vote for a Republican? Dumber than a rock? Pea gravel? Bag of hammers? Okra? Rick Perry?
To make matters worse for American morons, the rate of 4 year college graduates has risen from 26% to 30% in the last decade. Mostly due to Hispanic women. What could be worse for the Republican Base than smart Mexican women? Well other than smart Southerners – though looking at education statistics in the Southern states shows there is little to worry about on that account. And to add insult to injury, these educated Catholic women use birth control to make their way through 4 years of college without having 5 children.
Which brings up another stupid issue in this Republican War on Birth Control. Without contraception how many of these dreaded "anchor babies" they hate so much will be produced? Which is the main problem with our economy you know. Mexicans taking all the fruit picking, vegetable gathering and slaughter house jobs away from Republicans. For I am sure you too have driven by fields full of Republicans in three piece suits and straw hats picking lettuce and grapes. Or seeing them coming out of Pigs R Us with bandaged hands and their fingers in a jar on the way to emergency.
This is nothing new. Back in the 1990’s, before Sister Sarah, we had Phyllis Schlafly as our Aimee McPherson who began a campaign to remove GEOGRAPHY from public schools. For as you may know, geography is not just about maps, it is also about cultures, religions, societies, and political systems – are you ready for this – DIFFERENT FROM OUR OWN! Government schools have no business teaching children about anyone anywhere who is not just like Phyllis Schlafly and company. It is MULTICULTURALISM! Which is worse than Satan..
And where does this celebration of ignorance come from? You guessed it.
