This is hilarious, poor Roy Wood Jr finds himself unable to squeeze even a smidgen of politics out of any Superbowl player no matter how hard he tries. Though he finally realizes it’s a dead end and gets to the gravitas of grown men chasing balls around.
Though a sports fan – invested in a team my entire life with the Green Bay Packers – I have always been on board for the NFL, NBA and MLB playoffs. But have also always had my head cave in listening to the sports announcers outside the actual play clocks of the game.
The yelling and screaming, and fighting, and that high pitched fast talking sports talk that makes K-Tel and Ronco Ads seem like stuff from the Smithsonian.
Finally Roy Wood Jr. makes my point as well as can be done regarding this silliness.
So will the the New England Patriots with Donald Trump lovers coach Belichick and quarterback Brady win the day for President The Donald and the Trump Nation. Or will the upstart little team from Atlanta play their hearts out and win the damn thing.
For many of us, about 200 million or so, this is perhaps the first Superbowl in history – without our own team playing – that we will have a big enough investment in to actually watch the damn thing.
And what will Lady GaGa do to piss off The Donald so much he does a tweet storm through the whole second half?
