There is big money that. Remember he became famous in Sacramento for hitting the laugh and applause button while he read off the names of men who had died of aids each week in San Francisco. What’s not for an a whole not to like in that?
He has done well for himself, but a few years ago after he attacked and then doubled down on calling college student Sandra Fluke, a slut, his advertisers began deserting him and he brought the Republican brand down another few notches toward the gutter. Though at the time he was still so powerful in Republican politics, I can not recall one GOP politician brave enough to call him on it.
What I find even more interesting is this quote from Limbaugh in this same spot,
