It is time for Rush Limbaugh, the GOP presidential candidates and all Republicans to shut up about terrorism and just put on their diapers.
It seems the reason Rush Limbaugh went on TV for the first time in recent memory was to invoke the name “Barack Hussein O” half a dozen times to the Fox News crowd.
The secondary point Limbaugh wanted to come to TV for was to make it understood that he, Donald Trump and the majority of Republicans want to ‘BOMB THE SHIT OUT THEM’ and could care less about killing Muslim civilians in the Middle East.
This Republican brag was also brought forward on Sunday by both Ben Carson and Donald Trump who proudly stated they also want to bring back torture and waterboarding along with massive killing of Muslim civilians.
That is what the media misses so direly, that torture, waterboarding, bigotry, sexism, homophobia and racism are popular bragging rights for Republicans. It is what they are most proud of. Which is what brings tens of billions of dollars of success to tallk radio and Fox News, making bigots feel good about themselves.
Limbaugh has repeatedly proudly and loudly that he would not appear on TV since he was burned by Leno and Letterman some 20 years ago unless he had control of the microphone and the questions. I wonder what the contract he gave Chris Wallace looked like?
No questions being America’s spokesman for family values and how many times he has been married and children he has sired. Or the last time he went to church? Or paid for prostitutes in the Dominican Republic? Or sending his maid out to score morphine. Or getting fired from ESPN for racist remarks. Indeed Rush, Character matters.
