Joy! Just when Sarah was feeling so irrelevant and out of the loop that she snarked at Republican Chris Christie just to see herself on television again, rescue came from an unlikely source, comedienne Kathy Griffin.
There is no love lost between these two, and Griffin’s opportunity to play a Tea Party, Sarah Palin type on ‘Glee’ must have chaffed Palin in an uncomfortable place.
Of course Palin doesn’t care that her arch enemy (of which there are many) will have the opportunity to camp her image up on national TV, but in a tricky reverse victim/mama grizzly move, came out with her claws in view at the chance to protect her foul mouthed cub Willow, from the "50-year-old bully." Griffin’s New Years Resolution was to call Willow out for calling a Facebook poster a "gay" and a "rag head." Griffin has a large gay following, and feels that 16-years-old is old enough to be held accountable. Besides, you can’t buy the kind of publicity that an ‘adult’ cat fight engenders.
