Have you noticed an eerie silence? I realized today that it’s been from the lack of breathless reportage via TV, Twitter and Facebook of Sarah Palin’s latest ‘thoughts’ and hi-jinks. The media darling has been eclipsed by Charlie Sheen, actual news, and Chris Christie for cryin’ out loud. To put the icing on the cake, someone did a survey of the "Hottest Politicians" which not only didn’t include her in the winners circle, but was topped by Christie! The woman craves attention and adoration in the way that cold-blooded creatures crave a sun lamp.
Surely the green-eyed monster alone wouldn’t have prompted Palin to share sage advice from her months of public service with Gov. Christie today, Sarah is a giver…but the spotlight does feel terrific when you’re sunning yourself on a rock.
