Satirist Andy Borowitz makes a rare appearance to share his take on several deserving politicians. Also like everyone else he’s plugging a book. Unlike everyone else, he wrote it himself and it’s bound to be funny.
The book covers political satirists from Mark Twain to Dave Barry, and of course Borowitz himself who is no slouch. Remarkably Twain proves that some things never change in politics but only grow more hilariously absurd. Perhaps in 100 years Dave Barry will achieve similar appreciation. Just kidding Dave – we love you! May I have a Rock Bottom Remainders T-Shirt – please? Twain didn’t have a rock band comprised of other writers – so there!
Reflecting on Obama’s popularity and good work in spite of the Republicants, Borowitz has revealed the only living human who might possibly be able replace Obama. Hint: He would move from an Italian mansion to the much smaller White House full of young hotties.
