Scott Desjarlais Town Hall Republicans jeer 12 year old girl

Scott DesjarlaisNot quite sure if this is a case of intended or unintended consequences. No matter, it is that Republican Base ugliness the GOP cannot seem to put a lid on. In this case cheering when their congressman tells a little girl they are going to deport her daddy. Cheering and applauding to specifically hurt a 12 year old Hispanic girl. Indeed as Rush Limbaugh says so often, CHARACTER MATTERS.

If you were not aware Tennessee Congressman Scott Desjarlais is a medical doctor who got elected as a strong Tea Party and Rabid Pro life activist. Before his last election it was found that he had not only committed adultery numerous times, but a few of the women he dallied with got pregnant and he coerced them into having abortions. But as the Tennessee Tea Party candidate, he won re election easily.

The GOP primaries, the clown car aside, got most of the bad press from the debate audiences booing and cheering at all the wrong things. It is what the RNC cannot control, that ugly mob of Republican Base bigotry and racism.

So what is their great idea for the next elections?  To not allow any non conservative media to have anything to do with their primaries in 2016.  Rush Limbaugh says he is too important and such a big celebrity he would over shadow those running for president so has to opt out. That leaves Fox News as the primary sponsor, with likely moderators Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly and a few Right-wing columnists, I can see George Will, Charles Kruthhammer and Erick Erickson.

The for sure UNINTENDED consequences of this idea will be an ever more rabid right-wing audience doing even more applauding at all the wrong things far worse than last time.

We already see the war between Ron Paul and Chris Christian taking shape, but from Texas here, I see Ted Cruz as beating Rand Paul with the Base.  He delivers the red meat they like so much. So will their be a Ted Cruz war with Rand Paul?  I am guessing yes.

I also heard oh so moderate Chuck Todd say this morning that the RNC debate boycott is a good idea in that it will limit the clowns on stage for reducing the exposure which is the only reason so many clowns participate. The game is not so much attacks on the non conservative media as it is the hope that no one but Republicans will watch the circus this time.
