The two candidates represented here are intentionally over the top, although often they hit upon eerily correct notes. Guess from which party this gem originates: “Whenever my opponent asks a question for which I have no answer, I’ll invoke the term Un-American and count on your fanatical patriotism to ignore the fact that I have no coherent argument.” Am I having a pesky deju vu experience again, or is this comment and tactic utilized far too often – and successfully?
