Republicans know their base will not tolerate even a hint of anything that benefits lazy Blacks, criminal Hispanics or drunken Indians. Oops! It’s not about race it’s about debt! Polling last week showed only 8% of Americans are concerned with the debt. The Republicans who all claim it is the central issue in the coming election had Reagan triple the debt and W. Bush double it, while today thet flat out refuse to reduce military spending which is the highest outlay in the budget at $700 billion a year. above and beyond that they lobbied for the unfunded $1 trillion for Bush’s two wars, vote in lockstep to keep them going, and will filibuster to keep the tax cuts for the wealthy which puts us another $3 trillion in debt. Debt relief my ass!
